Looks like I need to be making more work. Almost my entire catalog is sold. Everytime I upload a new image to this site, it’s already gone. Tough being a professional artist in this economy, I know.
I just finished a commission for Christmas and packed it off this morning. Now I have a week free from the office and a pile of ideas. Getting ready for a new show is always the kick in the pants I need to get things done. In May of 2012 there will be a display of all fresh work at Ramone’s on Harris in Eureka. In the meantime, I’ll be turning all this inspiration into concrete works.
I’m working on combining the ideas I’ve been playing with the last few years. I’m getting more inspiration from early photography, ancient Egyptian art and animal extinction.
